Websites produced by Google are often censored in China with not very explicit criteria. This blog is built on the platform Google's Blogger. Difficult to say if it's possible to see it on your smartphone when you will be in China.
If you plan to do a hike, take the precaution of copying all photos showing the orientation maps on your smartphone and copy and paste the text into a text file.
Under some conditions, Google maps works, but will not be as clear that these very specific plans.
